We welcome the opportunity to recognize you now for your future gift.
In addition to welcoming you as a member of the Legacy of Hope Society, we will inscribe a plaque in your honor in our beautiful Rose Garden when you notify us that you have made a life income gift or a gift to City of Hope through your will, trust or by beneficiary designation. The plaque may also be in celebration or in memory of a loved one.
To be eligible for a Rose Garden plaque, we ask that you provide documentation of your gift and share your wishes by completing a gift notification form. This also is the best way to ensure that we receive the gift you have planned for us.
The City of Hope Rose Garden:
A Very Special Place
- A place of peace and tranquility, symbolizing the love and caring that underlie our belief in treating the whole person
- On an acre of land that is part of the original 10 acres purchased in 1913 by a group of compassionate individuals who founded City of Hope
- A spectacular example of nature at its most beautiful, featuring more than 2,000 rose bushes representing 100 different types of roses, all tended to daily with loving care
“The plaques in the Rose Garden are in honor of my parents and in memory of my grandparents and my aunt and uncle. My parents were pleased at the plaque in their honor — but what meant the most to them was the recognition not only of them, but also of other close family members who had passed on.”
