I had been a patient at City of Hope for two years when I was diagnosed with testicular cancer by Dr. Timothy Wilson during a prostate checkup. In the test done because of this cancer, they also discovered a Stage IV lung cancer. The testicular cancer was operated on by Dr. Wilson and was seminoma and needs only follow-up. The lung cancer now is incurable, but is being “stabilized” by targeted chemo by Dr. Reckamp. I am in a clinical trial now and doing well.

With my support of City of Hope, I envision the continuous development of improved cancer treatment through research.

City of Hope stands out with the loving and caring attitude shown by the doctors and all other members of the team. When I come to City of Hope, I don’t feel I am going to a hospital, but to a loving family.
