Many years ago, one of my dearest friends, Yvonne, was diagnosed with leukemia. Yvonne was brought to City of Hope and they started treatment immediately. Fortunately, her older brother was a bone marrow match for her so she was able to get a transplant. Her treatment was excellent and this gave my dear friend another five years to live, work, see her children grow to adulthood and become independent. This is the reason I will always support City of Hope even though I am retired and on a limited, fixed income.
I will continue my support with as much as I can afford into the future.
This is a wonderful institution and the first place I would recommend to anyone I hear about who is diagnosed with cancer.
