We were blessed as a family for City of Hope to take on my son’s case of colon cancer. City of Hope did and tried everything within their power to heal and cure him, but unfortunately, nothing worked. Everyone at City of Hope was kind and wonderful and very attentive to my son’s needs. He was diagnosed at 26 years of age and passed away three weeks after his 32nd birthday. My heart still aches every day. He was my only child.
I never ever want another single mom to lose her only child due to cancer. I continue to support with hope and prayers the wish that City of Hope will find a cure. I look forward with great anticipation to the day City of Hope says, “We’ve found a cure for cancer.”
